Highlights of our participation

Today electronica Shanghai 2024 draws to a close. We look back on a few exciting and fascinating days at the trade fair and are pleased to provide some insights and report on our successful appearance.

electronica Shanghai is one of the largest and most important trade fairs for the electronics industry in Asia. Every year, leading companies and experts from all over the world gather there to present the latest technologies, products and trends. The fair offers a unique platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience as well as for networking and business initiation. With over 1,650 exhibitors and more than 110,600 trade visitors from over 90 countries, electronica Shanghai is a key event for the electronics industry and an important driver of innovation and growth. 

We proudly introduced our new product group, System Solutions, which led to a lot of insightful exchanges with many visitors at our booth. This innovative suite is designed to elevate our offerings by deepening our manufacturing depth, allowing us to perform more processes in-house. This enhances our quality control, production efficiency, and overall competitiveness. Our new Shanghai sales branch played a pivotal role in our success, as their participation helped us establish a strong foothold in the domestic market and gain a comprehensive understanding of our operations. One key takeaway from the trade show was the incredible pace of technological advancement within the industry, highlighting the importance of staying ahead in this rapidly evolving field.

EMBARKING ON A NEW JOURNEY WITH A NEW ROLE IN THE GSN GROUP

I am thrilled to share some significant news with you all! As of April 1, 2024, I have been taking on my new role as Chief Development Officer of the GSN Group of Companies. I am grateful for the opportunity and look forward to contributing to the ongoing success of our organization. My field of activity will cover the responsibility for all new development projects on group level as well as the re-organisation of the groupwide sales structure, including the set-up of new sales entities in India and Shanghai. Expanding Our Reach: GSN's New Chapters With branches already flourishing in Germany, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen, the addition of India, where I will serve as one of three executive directors and Shanghai marks a strategic leap in our mission to innovate and grow globally. This move not only reinforces our commitment to global expansion but also to embedding the GSN vision across new global landscapes. The Power of Unity in Achieving Our Goals The success of these ventures heavily relies on our Global Sales Teams, who are the backbone of our strategic initiatives. We're not just broadening our geographical presence; we're investing in the future - cultivating new partnerships, opportunities, and a thriving community wherever we go. OPENING OF NEW MANUFACTURING LOCATION AT GSN SHENZHEN - DREAMS AND GOALS

In his speech Frank talked about the reasoning behind this. Opening an own production facility in China was originally a dream of his father, Lutz Püschel, who did not dare to realize it back in the day. Frank explained that his dream started to build on his father's and went beyond simply setting up a production facility. In his book "Radical Change", Frank developed a solution, TRI-MONY, that offers a way to establish more harmony in the world, and is used at GSN to enable his dream. "It is my dream for GSN that all of you are happy. That all of you are satisfied with the work, the payment, the see your child program and all other benefits that GSN is offering. It is my dream that we will grow further, so more and more people can join GSN. That more and more people can become members of the GSN family." Frank emphasized that although this goal is his dream, it can only be achieved because it is, above all, the employees of GSN who make it possible. "You are the people who make these dreams come true". To emphasize this point, Frank pointed out the immense transformation of GSN in recent years and, although GSN, like everyone else in the world, has suffered from Covid, GSN has emerged from this crisis stronger and growing faster than ever before, due to the employees at GSN working diligently and hard. In conclusion, GSN is growing and is happy to welcome this new location and its employees as part of the GSN family!

Thanks to our innovative approach to employee relations, our average employee return rate after the Chinese New Year festive season remains as high as 95%. We believe that this is a testament to our commitment to employee engagement and our efforts to create a workplace culture that prioritizes the needs and aspirations of our employees. COST STRUCTURE MANAGEMENT & RISK MITIGATION 2023

In 2023, we are confronted with many global risks and opportunities. INFLATION China is rather independent from price changes at international markets for raw materials. As China is our major production location, GSN‘s risk towards inflation is lower than in the Western part of the world. To further mitigate the risk of rising costs, we will move our level of automation even closer to 100% in 2023. ENERGY COSTS GSN‘s costs for energy in China have remained stable during 2021 and 2022. We expect the same for 2023 and rate this risk as low. POLITICAL RISKS Sadly, the world is not a fully peaceful place. We strongly hope that all conflicts between countries will be handled in a peaceful manner only. Our value chain is ready to adapt to changes to the current status quo within a few months time. ECO-SOCIAL IMPACT The human species causes a large eco-social damage foot-print that goes far beyond climate relevant damages. At GSN, we strive for innovation to mitigate GSN‘s overall eco-social footprint. We regard this as a positive challenge and we will enhance our status as eco-social best-in-class role model in the electronics industry. GLOBAL ELECTRONIFICATION More and more electronics is being used in almost all products globally. GSN will continue to develop new technological solutions to make the world a better place. This is our perspective at GSN.

Divided into teams, they participated in a range of physical and mental activities that proved challenging yet enjoyable, leaving everyone with a sense of accomplishment. Following the team-building games, the group headed to a beautiful location for a big dinner, where a variety of dishes awaited them. The evening included speeches, dancing, and singing, further strengthening the bonds between team members. This annual company trip proved to be a great opportunity for employees to build relationships and reinforce teamwork skills. The team participated in another day of team-building games, followed by a dinner, leaving everyone feeling grateful and energized.
